What are territories and how do I conquer them?

Terra Sperata is divided into territories that can be captured by clans. Clans get bonuses for owning territories. Some territories are marked with an arrow and a circle. These are landing zones and are used to start conquering territories. To acquire a landing zone, you don't need to fight, just win the auction. From regions you already have, you can only conquer adjacent regions. When you select the territory, you can see the arrows leading to the territories available to the territory's owner.

What is Dubnium?

Dubnium is a clan resource. That means the resource is common to the whole clan, and each clan member can see its amount. Each clan member automatically donates a certain amount of Dubnium per hour to the clan vault. The higher the level of the member's Command Center, the more Dubnium they contribute. Additionally, any clan member can buy extra Dubnium for the clan by clicking the green button with the white plus sign on the left of the Dubnium counter. Dubnium can only be spent in an action by the clan leader.

What is Auction?

When clicking on the landing zone, if the auction hasn't started yet, you'll be able to see the auction start countdown. If it has already started, clan leaders and their deputies will see the 'Auction' button. The number you see in the field labeled 'Your bid', is the minimum bid for the territory. You can enter a higher number if you wish. When you've made your first bid, you'll be able to see which clans have already bid for this territory, and raise your bid if you wish by entering the amount of Dubnium you want to bid in the 'Your bid' field and clicking the 'Raise the bid' button. When the auction time ends, the top bid wins and the clan that placed the winning bid gets the landing zone. Those clans who didn't win the auction are refunded their bids minus 30% auction fee. The winning clan owns the territory till the end of the next auction. Use this time to attack the adjacent territory by entering the auction for that territory.

Stages of Conquest

Conquering territories happens in two stages. The first stage is the auction. Unlike with landing zones, winning auctions on other territories doesn't automatically make them yours; it only gives you the chance to fight the existing owner of the territory. Once the auction is over, the preparation stage begins. If you are the clan leader, you must select the territory, click the 'Assign' button, and go on to choose the 10 clan members who will be attacking the territory. This is done by clicking the button 'Attack' next to their names, and clicking 'Save' once the selection is complete.
After this, the selected warriors will have time to build their defense, edit their bases and send reinforcements to one another before the conquest starts.
Bear in mind that in conquests, only an experienced clan member who is not occupied on other territories can be assigned as attacker. Note: if you don't have 10 clan members to send to battle or if you fail to assign attackers in due time, you will not be able to attack and subsequently lose the war for the territory.
Remember also that you can assign a player to another territory only after the conquest ends or after his previous task was canceled.

Preparations for Conquest

Your war base can differ from the main one. Make sure you rebuild it if you feel it can help you win a defense. You can do this by clicking on the Rebuild button in the menu that appears after you click on your base icon in the territory wars window. Don't forget to click on the 'Save' button once you finish rebuilding. Also, note that the base can only be saved once all the buildings have been placed. In territory wars, the regular clan reinforcements you send to your clanmates can only be used for attacking! If you want to help clanmates defend themselves in territory wars, send them territory reinforcements by clicking on their base icon in the territory wars window and selecting the corresponding button. Note that you can send territory reinforcements only if you're participating in the same war!

War Stage

When the preparation stage is over, the war stage begins. At this stage, you need to achieve more stars than your enemy. If you attack, the enemy will take the role of the territory owner. If you defend, the clan who wins the auction will be your enemy. When you select the territory, you'll see the 'Attack' button that leads to the attack/defend window. In the window, you can see the players assigned by your clan, those assigned by the enemy clan, any battles that are already finished, and any stars already gained. To view info about your enemy, just hit the 'To enemy' button.
If you click on the Command Center icon of a base, you'll be able to see whether it has already been attacked, whether those attacks were successful, and what bonus you can get for it. It also allows you to scout the base and to attack it if you were assigned to the territory.
Take your time! Don't attack the very first base you see. Click on the 'Scout' button, observe the base you are going to attack, make sure you have a strong enough army and start the battle only when you are sure to win. Remember, you can only attack each base once during the war! If you haven't managed to get all the stars at the base, your clanmates will only get one more try, because each base can be only attacked a total of two times during a battle. Also, every assigned player can only attack a total of two bases during the war, so think carefully about which base to attack. Choose wisely!

Star count. Conquest result

Stars are given in wars in the same way that they are given in regular battles: one for destroying half the base, one for destroying the Command Center, and another one for completely destroying the base.
When the war is over, the stars are counted. If the attacking clan has earned more stars, the territory becomes theirs. If the amount of stars they have earned is equal to, or less than that of the defending clan, the territory stays with the defenders.
