don't out-build your base defenses.
Missile Turrets, Auto-Bots, and Bunkers deter airborne pests, level those up with Power Cannons, Siege Tanks really do minimal damage overall.. Mirages are awesome once you get them.
Don't upgrade too many defenses concurrently, makes you easy target.
Spread your upgrade times out over the course of your online time, so you don't run short of resources when 3-5 builders all finish within an hour of each other.
Join a clan early and participate in the clan actively.
Just some tips
Don't rush advancement
Re: Don't rush advancement
My tip is make sure to get the workers as quick as you can. Use your diamonds on the workers first. There are a maximum of five. Upgrades can take a long time. Each upgrade requires a worker so you can only upgrade when a worker becomes available.
Re: Don't rush advancement
That's because that account hasn't been touched for over a month, as well as losing around 30mil or so worth of resources in upgrades
Re: Don't rush advancement
noob question alert...over the top of the clan hall it says request .. does that mean there is someone trying to join and if so how does one know and either accept or deny the request ?? thanks in advance
Re: Don't rush advancement
It means you have room to request reinforcements from your clam, if it's your clam hall. If someone requests to join and you are an officer or higher there will be a dark red message in clam chat from that person to you saying that they would like to join your clam, with a green check mark and a red X, to accept and deny. The message is the same color as the ones when someone joins or is kicked from your clam. This message only appears when you are in an invite-only clam, and I am not sure if it appears to people in the clam below the rank of officer. If it does, then it does not have the accept and reject buttons for them.
